Two Nigerian musicians, Yemi Alade and Olamide, are said to be her parents. On Instagram, she commented on Olamide’s birthday photo from a “Daughter” perspective, writing, “Happy Birthday Dad”. Fans were also eager to link Yemi Alade and Mehcosa after she covered Yemi Alade’s tune Shekere, which Yemi Alade tweeted.
