“The entire section of Iddo Bridge will be temporarily closed to vehicular movement during the periods stated above to ensure the safe installation of the steel beams on the bridge.”

The closure is scheduled for Wednesday, June 17, 2026, from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., and Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Motorists have been advised to make use of alternative routes during the affected periods to avoid traffic delays and inconvenience.

The Lagos State Government urged road users to cooperate with traffic management officials and plan their journeys ahead as rehabilitation works continue on the bridge.
