Lady rants over boyfriend who’s ashamed to tell his family that she’s an artist

A US-based Nigerian lady considers leaving her relationship with boyfriend because he is ashamed to tell his parents that she’s an artist by profession.

The US-based artist identified as Uzoart on Twitter revealed that she had asked her boyfriend whether he intends to introduce her as an artist to his family.

He told that he would tell them that she’s an entrepreneur, shutting down her suggestion to be introduced as an artist.

According to her, she grew up having to defend her profession and that there’s no way she’d be with a partner who is ashamed to tell people that she does art for a living.
