Joseph Yobo Resumes As New Super Eagles Assistant Coach

Professional Nigerian footballer, Joseph Yobo has been welcomed on board Super Eagles’ as the new assistant coach after being appointed for the role back in February.

The former captain of the national team recently joined the squad in Austria for the friendly games against Algeria and Tunisia.

The 40-year-old sportsman while making the announcement via his social media page, shared a photo of himself posing with head coach Gernot Roh.

Joseph Yobo wrote, ‘New Chapter. Super Eagles Head coach Genort Rohr and his Assistant coach .’

Nigeria will face Algeria and Tunisia on Friday, October 9, and Tuesday, October 13, 2020, respectively in Austria.
