“I’m writing JAMB for the 6th time since 2020” – Lady shares struggle, sparks reactions

A young Nigerian lady has sparked reactions online after opening up about her struggle with repeated attempts at the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination.

According to her, she has been writing the exam since 2020 and is set to sit for it again for the sixth time, despite not feeling prepared.

In her words, she said:

“I’m writing JAMB for the 6th time tomorrow. I started writing JAMB since 2020. Tomorrow is my exam, and guess what? I have not even read.”

She explained that she initially hoped to secure admission this year, which made her shift focus away from preparing for another attempt.

However, with things not going as planned, she now finds herself heading into the exam once again, unsure of what to expect.

“I was supposed to have an admission this year, so I put all my mind on that, but here we are, writing JAMB again tomorrow. To be sincere, I have not read anything. I don’t know, I’m just going to go and write it,” she added.

Many reactions have followed online. One user wrote: “JAMB can be frustrating honestly. Hope you pass this time 🙏” Another added: “Omo this one no easy 😭”

Her story highlights the pressure many students face in securing admission, as well as the challenges of staying motivated after repeated setbacks.
