The man, @IyelolaIge on X (formerly Twitter), disclosed that the colleague recently reached out to him via phone call and requested ₦10,000.

According to the X user, the request left him surprised, recalling that while in 300 level, the colleague had travelled abroad, owned a vehicle, and was well-known on campus.
In the now-viral tweet, he disclosed that the colleague who visited various clubs was the envy of students.
”I was not shocked by the amount. I was shocked by who was asking. His voice didn’t sound like his Instagram. I sent it immediately. Added extra. After the call, I just sat”, He added.
In conclusion, he emphasized the need to care for others and avoid lavish spending.
