Man recalls how ex-girlfriend rejected him after helping her secure bank job
A Nigerian man has shared his experience with an ex-girlfriend who, according to him, later distanced herself from him after he helped her prepare for an assessment and coached her through an interview for a Nigerian bank.
The man, identified as @jayhemz on X, said the experience confirmed his belief that “women rogged,” apparently referring to his perception that women can become distant after benefiting from a man’s support.

According to him, his former girlfriend eventually told him that she no longer felt comfortable around him.
He humorously added that he understood her decision, considering his reported ₦90,000 salary, joking that he would now apply to Goldman Sachs with “prayers of mercy.”
He wrote:
“When I confirm say women rogged na when my ex, wey I help pass assessment, coach for interview to one of the Nigerian banks, later tell me say she doesn’t feel okay with me.
I concur sef with my 90k salary. Na once I go apply to Goldman Sachs with prayers of mercy.”
