A woman has shared the emotional moment a bride unexpectedly walked away from her husband during their wedding reception to honour the stranger who once saved her life.

According to the lady, guests initially assumed the bride had stepped away to adjust her dress or freshen up. Instead, she walked through the crowd to the last row of the reception hall, where an elderly woman was seated alone.
