Frank Edoho (born on July 8, 1972) is a Nigerian television host, filmmaker, and photographer. He is best known for hosting the popular Nigerian television show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

Frank Edoho was born on July 8, 1972, in Kano State, Nigeria, and is from Eket, Akwa Ibom State. He is from the Ibibio tribe and follows the Christian faith.

Edoho studied animal science at the University of Calabar. While at school, he performed as a rapper under the stage name Mc Frank.

Career

Following graduation, he began his broadcasting career as a presenter for the Cross River State Broadcasting Corporation.

He later anchored a breakfast television show for the Nigerian Television Authority’s Channel 9, Calabar. Edoho went to Metro FM 97.6 in 1999 and anchored radio programming for the station. He was, however, pushed to prominence by the famous show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.

Aside from being a television host, he is also a voice actor, photographer, producer, and filmmaker. After declining a new contract to continue hosting Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, he was announced as co-hosting a worldwide TV show, The Price Is Right, with Emmanuel Essien, also known as Mannie.

Edoho is known for his articulate voice and has done voiceovers for Vogue Fruit Juice, First City Monument Bank, Unilever Nigeria Plc, International Bank Plc, and Elizade Toyota.

Edoho hosted the popular TV game program for 13 years, from 2004 to 2017, but resigned on September 2. He announced his departure via his official Twitter site after failing to reach an agreement with Ultima Studios.

Edoho disputed being “dropped” by the show’s organizers, claiming that he simply “declined the offer” that was made to him. In February 2022, he returned to the show.
