Fernandes slams ‘lazy’ Man United teammates after Everton draw

Bruno Fernandes delivered a brutal assessment of Manchester United’s lacklustre showing in their 2-2 draw against Everton.
He labelled the performance as “lazy” and admitting the team is “not where we want it to be.”
The draw ended United’s US tour, where despite lifting the Premier League Summer Series trophy, familiar defensive failings resurfaced.
Fernandes and Mason Mount scored to give United the lead twice, only for errors to hand Everton two equalisers, one an own goal off Ayden Heaven.
“It’s every detail, every small detail matters,” Fernandes said. “We were a little bit lazy off the ball and you can get punished. The culture here was winning, and we need to bring that back.”
“The fans pay more for tickets, we need to pay it back on the pitch,” Fernandes added.
