A Nigerian man has sparked reactions online after sharing a personal story about an alleged experience with his wife, claiming it made him rethink revealing certain secrets in marriage.
The man, identified as Nelson Obi, shared his experience in a comment that went viral after another social media user reposted it on his page.
Man shares alleged experience with wife
According to Nelson, he once told his wife that she should not touch his ring while she was menstruating because something bad could happen to him if she did.
He claimed that he bought a simple ring and kept it in his cupboard as a precaution.
He wrote: “Gospel truth, I told my wife that when she is on her menses, she should not touch my ring. If she does, I will kpai. I bought a simple ring and kept it on my cupboard.”
Wife allegedly touched ring during disagreement
Nelson alleged that during an argument, his wife became angry and touched the ring while she was on her period.
“One day she got very angry during her period and removed her menstrual blood and rubbed on the ring. I fell down, did as if I can’t breathe.”
According to him, his wife later contacted his mother and said it was a mistake.
He added: “That’s when she called my mother and said it was a mistake.”
