EPL: Marcus Rashford survives car crash after Burnley match

English footballer, Marcus Rashford was involved in a car crash while returning home after Manchester United’s 1-0 win over Burnley on Saturday, September 23.

It’s been gathered that Rashford was driving his £700,000 Rolls Royce when the collision took place. Images of the aftermath have been shared on social media showing a dent in the car following the crash.

Fellow United star Bruno Fernandes reportedly stopped to help out after coming across the scene of the collision, which severely dented Rashford’s Rolls Royce Black Badge Wraith. According to The Sun, Rashford was shaken but not hurt in the car crash.

Police were called to the scene but there were no arrests made, and an ambulance was not required. Rashford only has a matter of days to pick himself up and dust himself down before United’s Carabao Cup clash with Crystal Palace on Tuesday night.

25-year-old Rashford was one of Erik ten Hag’s main attacking threats against the Clarets on Saturday, although it was veteran center-back Jonny Evans who notched an impressive assist for Fernandes’ stunning volley.

The Red Devils were in desperate need of a victory after kicking off the season with a poor run of results. Consecutive defeats to Arsenal, Brighton, and Bayern Munich preceded their trip to Burnley, which saw them edge out Vincent Kompany’s side.

On an individual level, Rashford is yet to find the kind of form that saw him bag 17 Premier League goals in 2022/23, his joint-best total for a single campaign. Ten Hag will be keen for the forward to put the team on his shoulders over the coming weeks as injuries continue to wreak havoc.

The English footballer owns three Rolls-Royces; the £700k Black Badge Wraith involved in the crash, a £390k Black Badge Cullinan and just last month he bought a £560k Cullinan Blue Shadow.
