EPL: Arsenal send title race to final day with 1-0 against Man Utd

Arsenal revived the Premier League title race with a nerve-wracking 1-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Mikel Arteta’s side understood they needed a win to reclaim the top spot in the league ahead of Manchester City’s crucial clash with Tottenham Hotspur.

Leandro Trossard will get all the credit for the vital goal that secured all three points for the Gunners.

His close-range tap-in midway through the first half, saw Arsenal reclaim the Premier League top spot with one point clear of City.

 

The win marked Arsenal’s first league victory at Old Trafford in front of fans in 18 years.

Arsenal’s path to the title remains dependent on their own performance in their final match against Everton, as well as hoping for slip-ups from Manchester City against either Tottenham or West Ham.

There is also the possibility of the title race going down to goal difference, with Arsenal holding a three-goal advantage in that regard.
