Deadline day: Chelsea approve Mudryk, Adarabioyo, Sanchez departures
Chelsea have accepted offers for Mykhailo Mudryk, Tosin Adarabioyo and Robert Sanchez as the club accelerate their efforts to reduce the size of Xabi Alonso’s squad on deadline day.
Mudryk and Adarabioyo are set to join Tottenham, while Sanchez is set to complete medical with Italian side Como.

Mudryk set for Tottenham reunion
Tottenham are keen to take Mudryk, 25, to north London and reunite him with Roberto De Zerbi, who previously coached the Ukraine international at Shakhtar Donetsk.
Mudryk has not played a competitive match since November 2024 after receiving a suspension following an adverse finding for meldonium. He became eligible to return to football in July.
Chelsea signed the winger from Shakhtar for an initial £61 million, but his time at Stamford Bridge has failed to develop as expected.
A move to Tottenham would give Mudryk another opportunity to revive his career under a manager familiar with his qualities.
Spurs are also closing in on Adarabioyo, who will join permanently as a replacement for Kevin Danso. Danso is expected to leave Tottenham for Sunderland on an initial loan.
Sanchez heads for Como
Sanchez is set to leave Chelsea after the goalkeeper was made available for either a permanent transfer or loan.
The 28-year-old came under pressure after making two errors in Chelsea’s opening Premier League fixture against Fulham, which contributed to the Blues conceding twice.
Chelsea subsequently strengthened their goalkeeping options by signing Argentina international Emiliano Martinez from Aston Villa for £7.5m.
Sanchez will now continue his career in Italy if his proposed season-long loan to Como is completed.
The Italian club have already conducted business with Chelsea this summer, having signed defender Trevoh Chalobah for £31m.
