The vacation comes weeks after Davido’s child custody battle with his babymama, Sophia Momodu, which drew attention after her lawyer referenced his late son Ifeanyi in court, causing a stir.
The lawsuit stems from a heated court session where Davido allegedly verbally confronted the lawyer, before later making defamatory posts about her on social media, describing her as the “worst lawyer ever.”
Following the incident, Davido took to Instagram to call out the opposition lawyer, accusing her of being unprofessional and inhumane.
In response, the law firm, Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors, demanded a public apology, a retraction of the statements, and ₦1 billion in damages.
