David de Gea eyes LaLiga for next move

Former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, is exploring opportunities to return to football in Spain.

Despite interest from the Premier League and Saudi Arabia, sources close to the 33-year-old suggest he is keen on a LaLiga return.

De Gea, who made 545 appearances for Manchester United over 11 seasons, is reportedly open to rejoining his former club Atletico Madrid or even their city rivals Real Madrid as a backup goalkeeper.

He is currently a free agent and could be signed outside the transfer window in case of an emergency.

During his time at Manchester United, De Gea won several trophies including the Premier League, FA Cup, Europa League, and two League Cups.

Despite being linked with various clubs since becoming a free agent, including a reported declined move to Nottingham Forest.

He also had opportunities and interest from clubs like Al-Shabab, Newcastle, Real Betis, Al-Nassr, and Bayern Munich, but seems all geared up on a move back to Spain for the next phase of his career.
