Christian Eriksen unhappy with limited playing time at Manchester United

Christian Eriksen recently opened up about his situation at Manchester United, expressing dissatisfaction with his lack of playing time.

The midfielder, speaking from the Denmark national team camp, expressed frustration with only 95 minutes of Premier League action since the start of the year.

While acknowledging the team’s recent form, Eriksen told Tipsbladet that he has come open to coach Erik ten Hag that he desires more opportunities on the field.

“I’ve had a talk with Erik about being unhappy with the situation and wanting to play as much as possible.

“He said Kobbie Mainoo is doing well, and the rest of the midfield is also performing well, so there is competition for places.

“I want to play as much as possible. You don’t want to always sit on the bench,” he said.

However, Eriksen who is still under contract with United until 2026, remains committed to supporting the team and staying prepared when called upon.
