Chinese father sobs inconsolably after tutoring son for 1 year only for him to score 6/100 on math exam (Photos)

A Chinese parent has sobbed inconsolably after his son received a 6/100 on his math exam despite regular tutoring from him for a year.

The man from Zhengzhou, Henan Province, had taken out time to tutor his son for his exam and received the exam score on June 23.

When he received the result and found out that his son had scored only a discouraging six point, the man broke down to tears.

In the video shared on Weibo by Qilu Evening News, the father was reportedly saying; “I don’t care anymore, my efforts are wasted, let him struggle by himself!”

The mother claimed that for the previous year, the father had tutored his child till midnight each day. His son’s erratic test results are another factor contributing to his disappointment. In prior tests, the child had received between 40 and 50 and 80 to 90 marks.
