David, who has just 12 months remaining on his contract with Lille, is expected to be available at a reasonable price.
David joined the French outfit from Belgian club Gent in 2020 in a record deal.
Since then, he has scored 84 goals in 183 matches, making him the third-highest scorer in Lille’s history and the top scorer of the 21st century.
Known for his consistency, David has missed only three matches in four seasons and played a crucial role in Lille’s 2021 Ligue 1 title and Trophee des Champions victory.
In the 2023/24 season, David scored 19 goals, including key strikes against PSG, Marseille, and Lyon, helping Lille secure a fourth-place finish and Champions League qualification.
