“Chelsea fans care so much” – Blues owner reacts to fans rants

Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has addressed the recent backlash from fans, following the club’s poor run of form since his takeover.

Boehly in an exclusive interview with Forbes said “The good news is people care so much. And the bad news is people care so much!”

While he shared in the frustration of fans, the American billionaire emphasized the need for them to remain patient with the club’s long-term project.

“We just need to let the process develop and give our squad the time to go from being unbelievable individual players with great skills to fold into a team.

“We just have to continue to stay the course,” Boehly told Forbes.

Since taking over as the new Chelsea owner in June 2022, the club have struggled with form, changing up to four managers.

Despite making significant spendings in the transfer market in the last two years, Chelsea have still not found their steam, which is now telling on their fans.

The Blues are currently positioned 11th in the Premier League standings, after a frustrating 2-2 draw against 10-man Burnley last Saturday.
