Businesswoman scams man of ₦400k in short-let deal, blocks him, and switches off phone
A Nigerian businesswoman has allegedly scammed a man of ₦400,000 in a short-let apartment deal, blocking him on all platforms and switching off her phone.
The incident was shared in a post on X (formerly Twitter) by user @nifemi_cognac, who claimed her friend was defrauded by the woman.
She also uploaded a photo of the alleged scammer along with a caption.
According to her, her friend had been searching for a short-let apartment and contacted the businesswoman for assistance.
However, after receiving payment, the woman failed to provide the apartment, blocked all contact, and turned off her phone lines.
In her post, she wrote: “Hi everyone. My friend was just scammed of 400k by this babe. He was trying to book a short-let apartment from her at Ikate, Lekki.”
“She has blocked him, and all her numbers are switched off. Her name is msvogg, and her business page is @luxurybymetrocityshortlet on IG.”
