Breaking: Bayer Leverkusen sack Erik ten after just two matches

Bayer Leverkusen have sacked Erik ten Hag after only two games in charge, making him the third former Manchester United manager to lose his job within a week.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Dutch coach, who took over at the Bundesliga side this summer, saw his tenure brought to an abrupt end following a disappointing start to the season.

“Erik ten Hag has just been SACKED by Bayer Leverkusen.

“Decision made by the club’s hierarchy this morning and manager informed right now,” Romano shared on X (former Twitter).
