Barcelona President to evaluate Xavi’s future after next two matches

Barcelona President Joan Laporta is reportedly facing mounting pressure as the club struggles both on and off the pitch.

With financial challenges looming and disappointing results on the field, discontent with Laporta’s management is starting to emerge among fans and within the board, reports Football Espana.

There have been chants criticizing Laporta’s leadership during Barcelona’s recent match against Granada, echoing similar sentiments from previous games.

Laporta is aware of the growing frustration and tension surrounding the club but has decided to postpone any decisions regarding the coaching staff, particularly Xavi Hernandez, for the time being.

Despite accepting Xavi’s decision to remain as coach until the end of the season just over two weeks ago, Laporta is now evaluating the situation more closely, according to reports.

Meanwhile, if there is no improvement in Barcelona’s performance in the next two matches, Xavi’s position could be in jeopardy sooner than expected.
