Barcelona beat Real Madrid in El Clasico to seal back-to-back La Liga titles

Barcelona secured the 2025/26 La Liga title after defeating fierce rivals Real Madrid 2-0 in El Clasico at the Nou Camp.
Rashford inspires Barcelona to title glory
Marcus Rashford opened the scoring with a stunning free-kick before Ferran Torres added a second as Barcelona cruised to victory in front of their home fans.
Both players celebrated their goals with manager Hansi Flick following the recent death of his father.
The victory confirmed Barcelona as La Liga champions with three matches still remaining, extending their remarkable winning run in the league to 11 games.

Flick delivers another title for Barcelona
Barcelona have now won back-to-back league titles and moved onto 29 La Liga crowns overall, though they still trail Real Madrid’s record tally by seven.
Flick’s side have been dominant at home throughout the campaign, with the victory marking their 18th win in 18 league matches at the revamped Nou Camp this season.
Rashford gave the hosts the perfect start when he curled an early free-kick into the top corner beyond Thibaut Courtois.
Barcelona doubled their lead in the 18th minute after a brilliant team move ended with Torres firing home following a clever assist from Dani Olmo.
Real Madrid’s struggles continue
Real Madrid struggled to respond despite starting Aurelien Tchouameni just days after reports of an altercation with teammate Federico Valverde, who missed the game.
Under-pressure manager Alvaro Arbeloa was unable to inspire a comeback as Barcelona controlled large periods of the contest.
Rashford nearly grabbed his second goal before Courtois denied him with a fine save, while Vinicius Junior was kept quiet for much of the night by goalkeeper Joan Garcia.
As the final whistle approached, chants of “Championes, Championes” echoed around the Nou Camp as Barcelona celebrated another league triumph.
