Arsenal begin Premier League trophy parade through North London

Arsenal’s Premier League title celebrations are underway as thousands of supporters gather across North London to welcome the champions during an open-top bus parade.

The Gunners are marking their first league triumph in 22 years after finishing ahead of Manchester City to secure the Premier League crown under manager Mikel Arteta.

Despite losing the UEFA Champions League final to Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday evening, the club fans lined the streets in large numbers as players and staff travelled through North London, celebrating a title success that ended more than two decades of waiting for Arsenal supporters.

Lewis-Skelly savours moment with supporters

Among those enjoying the celebrations was academy graduate Myles Lewis-Skelly, who described the occasion as a special moment for both the squad and the fanbase.

Speaking to Sky Sports during the parade, the youngster said: “First of all, so proud of the boys. Am so happy that we are champions of England.”

Lewis-Skelly also highlighted the significance of sharing the achievement with supporters who have backed the club throughout the season.

“It means everything to share this with our people,” he added.

Emotional day for Arsenal stars

The midfielder admitted the parade would be an emotional occasion as family members joined supporters in celebrating the club’s achievement.

“My family are going to be here, it’s gonna be emotional,” Lewis-Skelly said.

The celebrations have brought together players, staff and fans as Arsenal commemorate one of the most significant moments in the club’s recent history.

‘Start of a new era’

While the focus remains on celebrating the title, Lewis-Skelly also believes the triumph could be the foundation for future success.

“It is the start of a new era,” he said.

“I think we can go and achieve our dreams.”

The parade represents the culmination of a memorable campaign for Arsenal, with supporters continuing to celebrate a league title that many hope will mark the beginning of a sustained period of success under Arteta.
