“Act like you respect your customers” — Gov. Soludo’s son Ozonna reacts over yearly iPhone upgrades

Ozonna Soludo, son of Anambra State Governor Chukwuma Soludo, has criticised Apple over what he described as a sudden decline in the camera quality of his iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Ozonna raised the complaint in a viral video while reacting to the release of a new iPhone model.

According to him, he initially wondered why the camera on his phone had suddenly become poor before connecting it to the launch of the new device.

“At this point I think it’s safe to say that Apple is playing in our faces because why is my app, my camera quality like so crap, like suddenly so crap,” he said.

He then suggested that the timing of the alleged decline in camera quality was connected to Apple’s latest product launch.

“Then I realised that well yes because there’s a new iPhone dropping today that’s why your camera is so crap,” Ozonna said.

The governor’s son disclosed that he currently uses an iPhone 15 Pro Max and had already been considering an upgrade.

“I do want to upgrade I feel like it’s that time,” he said, adding that he expected to purchase the new model despite his frustration with Apple.

However, Ozonna expressed concern that upgrading to the latest iPhone might only provide a temporary solution before users are encouraged to buy another device.

“I’m gonna get that and in a few years everything’s gonna go right back down to shit because you want me to get another phone,” he said.

He also questioned Apple’s annual upgrade cycle, suggesting that the company should give customers more time before releasing another major upgrade.

“I’m not really feeling this game anymore like I might just switch to Samsung,” Ozonna said.

Although he described himself as loyal to Apple, he said he did not feel the company was showing the same loyalty to its customers.

“I’m really like loyal to Apple but I don’t feel like Apple is loyal to me,” he said.

Ozonna further urged Apple to reconsider its approach to releasing new devices, saying, “Get a grip not every year like make it every three years you know act like you have some sense act like you respect your customers.”

He acknowledged that he understood why the company continued with its current strategy, noting that financial interests could influence such decisions.

“I do get it because if I was making money like Apple I would probably do the same.” he said.
