“A pastor offered to pay for his treatment, but was blocked” – Victoria Inyama makes fresh allegations after Alex Ekubo family’s call-out

Nollywood actress Victoria Inyama has reacted to the statement released by the family of late actor Alex Ekubo, making fresh allegations about his final days and the help she claims was rejected before his death.

Commenting on the family’s post by a man identified as David Ekubo, the actress claimed she knew how difficult it was for him to speak publicly.

She alleged that a prominent Nigerian pastor had tried to intervene by offering financial support for Alex’s medical treatment.

“David Ekubo, I know how difficult it was for you to come here. I know how far you went for dialogue. One of the biggest and kindest pastors in Nigeria tried to help but was always told by her that Alex is fine,” she wrote.

Victoria further stated that the pastor repeatedly sought access to Alex but was blocked, adding that the cleric was only informed after the actor had passed away.

She claimed the pastor was not offering miracles but was willing to sponsor Alex’s treatment anywhere in the world, insisting that modern cancer has several treatment options.

“The pastor was not even told when Alex was in hospital; he was only called when Alex died. He wasn’t offering miracles. He was ready to foot any medical bill anywhere in the world.

Any genuine mother would accept help to try everything. Nnam biko, just remember Dede is very vulnerable now,” she added.

Victoria’s remarks came after Alex Ekubo’s family publicly accused his stepmother of denying them access to the actor while he was on the sick bed, questioning why she only reached out after his death.

Her comments have since sparked mixed reactions online, with many expressing sadness over the allegations, while others urged the public not to jump to conclusions until all sides have been heard.
