At 24, I still relied on my mother to give me 100 naira – NairaBet Founder, Akin Alabi

Member of the House of Representatives and Founder of NairaBet, Akin Alabi has revealed that he still relied on his mother for little sums of money as a 24 year old man.

The lawmaker representing Egbeda/Ona-Ara federal constituency in Oyo state, made the revelation on Twitter. Alabi said that as a 24 year old man, he still relied on his mother for N100.

He was reacting to the statement of a Twitter user, @Harryolah who lambasted men that are struggling and still broke at 24.

“You’ve failed as a guy, if you’re still broke at age 24,” the Twitter user wrote.

Then Akin Alabi replied via his handle @akinalabi ; “What kind of nonsense is this, this early morning? At 24, I still relied on my mother to give me as little as N100.”
