2027: “Tinubu will win even in a free and fair election” – Orji Kalu declares

Former Abia State governor and senator representing Abia North, Orji Uzor Kalu, has thrown his weight behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, declaring that the opposition stands no chance against the ruling party.
Speaking confidently, Kalu described the opposition parties as weak, adding that many of their members are even friends with the APC leadership.
“President Tinubu is not running the presidency with anybody. The opposition party is weak, very weak. And all of them in the opposition are our friends. They are my friends. They are President Tinubu’s friends. Let’s leave policies alone, we are all friends,” he said.
He further challenged opposition leaders to present better policies to Nigerians, insisting that he has not seen any clear alternative to what the current administration is offering.
Kalu also praised Tinubu’s handling of the economy, noting that the country was in a bad state before 2023 but is now stabilising under his leadership.
“The economy was in tatters when President Tinubu came in in 2023, and he’s managing it to bring back all the lost ground. I don’t think any of them will win President Tinubu in a free and fair election.”
“APC is like a moving train. Even in my village, everybody is joining APC. We have over 15 million members. We are rocking like a hurricane,” he added.
