Zenith Bank donates N200M to D’Tigress

Zenith Bank has donated N200 million to Nigeria’s women’s basketball team. D’Tigress.

This comes on the heels of a record-breaking fifth consecutive AfroBasket title.

The bank’s Group Managing Director, Dame Adaora Umeoji, presented the reward during a reception in Abuja.

According to him, each player would receive N10 million, while the technical crew and support staff would share the remaining amount.

This donation comes on the heels of President Bola Tinubu’s reward to the team, which included $100,000 for each player and $50,000 each for the coaches and technical crew.

Each team member and staff received a flat at the Renewed Hope Estate.

Additionally, the president conferred on the players and technical crew the prestigious national honor of Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON)
