Yul Chibuike Daniel Edochie (born January 7, 1982), commonly known as Yul Edochie, is a Nigerian actor and politician. He is named after the renowned Russian actor Yul Brynner. He is from Anambra State in Nigeria and the son of Nigerian actor Pete Edochie.

Edochie was born on January 7, 1982. He is from Anambra State and is the youngest of six children to actor Pete Edochie. He was raised in Lagos and Enugu. He is named after the Russian star Yul Brynner. He graduated from the University of Port Harcourt with a Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts.
Career
Edochie made his Nollywood debut in 2005 with the film The Exquires, which also starred Justus Esiri and Enebeli Elebuwa. His breakthrough came in 2007, when he appeared in the film Wind of Glory with Genevieve Nnaji and Desmond Elliot.
Edochie created a Lagos-based film academy in 2015. Edochie stood for governor of Anambra State in 2017, representing the Democratic Peoples Congress political party. Willie Obiano, who was running for re-election, won a second term.
