A social media user has shared the unusual story of a boy whose impressive WAEC result reportedly raised suspicions at home after he made A’s in all his subjects.

According to the post shared by Ebun on X, the boy’s father became suspicious after seeing the result and asked him how he managed to achieve such grades.

The boy reportedly explained that he had been reading very well, but his father remained unconvinced.

Boy reportedly confesses to exam malpractice

The father was quoted as telling him, “You’re not that brilliant academically. There’s no way you made this kind of result.”

The post claimed that the boy remained quiet for some time before eventually confessing that his mother had allegedly been giving him N3,000 every day during the examinations to pay for “expo”.

The alleged confession reportedly left the father considering making him rewrite the WAEC examination.

However, according to the story, the boy’s mother rejected the idea and instead obtained a JAMB form for him.

The X user claimed that the boy subsequently scored 85 in the examination.
