A Nigerian lady has stirred mixed reactions after delivering an emotional commentary on the country’s political system and the power of the electorate.
In a viral video, she questioned claims that votes do not count, arguing that heavy campaign spending suggests otherwise.
She referenced President Bola Tinubu and maintained that the outcome of elections reflects the choices made by citizens.
The woman also criticized the concentration of wealth among billionaires and expressed frustration over the current economic situation, stating that many Nigerians are struggling to meet basic needs.
She argued that elected leaders should be held accountable for their performance and suggested that public office holders who fail to deliver should not seek another term.

“If my vote does not count, then why is the president of Nigeria giving billions to celebrities to impress me? Nobody needs billions. It is not legal for anybody to be a billionaire. But if you are a billionaire, all the billionaires in the world, is it that they are solving problems or they are creators? You don’t need to trust Peter Obi. We don’t need trust in politics. We need to make mistakes. But a mistake repeated more than once is a decision. Nobody should run for a second turn if they were useless and incompetent. Whether you like it or yes, Nigeria made Tinubu the president. And your vote counts. I don’t know who told you otherwise. Because if not, why are you going to spend billions for this small matter? We should be able to remove and put. And you have that power. His reviews are so bad. Whether he did anything good, that’s only… People died, bro. Hundreds of people died in his tenure. Nigerians are not even surviving to buy cars or to build houses. No. They are surviving to eat for the next day. That’s how bad it is.
