YEIDEP Batch B 2026: Things to Know About the #500,000 Grant

The Federal Government has stated that the recruitment for Batch B of the Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalisation Programme (YEIDEP) would begin countrywide on March 9, 2026.
The scheme is part of a bigger attempt to provide young Nigerians with start-up funding, encourage entrepreneurship, and reduce unemployment. Prospective applicants should take note of key factors to guarantee a smooth application process and avoid disqualification.
Here are seven things you should know about YEIDEP Batch B.
YEIDEP Batch B 2026 recruitment officially begin on March 9, 2026, for eligible adolescents across Nigeria.
The plan is a key effort of the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, to provide encouragement to 20 million young people and encourage self-employment.
Applications for Batch B will be accepted physically at authorised partner banks, which will also assist applicants in opening YEIDEP accounts.
Individuals who have previously confirmed YEIDEP accounts from Batch A are not eligible to apply again.
Those who enrolled in Batch A but did not receive confirmed accounts should apply in Batch B.
Only approved banks should be utilised for this application. Authorised banks include Fidelity Bank, Keystone Bank, Alpha Morgan Bank, Wema Bank, Union Bank, GTBank, Zenith Bank, Access Bank, UBA, Ecobank, and Lotus Bank.
Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf will oversee the recruiting process through a YEIDEP Steering Committee to ensure transparent and coordinated beneficiary selection.
