Yamal named La Liga Player of the Month

Lamine Yamal has been voted La Liga’s Player of the Month for November after a standout run of performances that handed Barcelona perfect league record during the month.

The 18-year-old delivered three goals and three assists across four matches, restoring Barcelona’s campaign after an inconsistent start and restating his status as the league’s most productive creator.

Barcelona’s rising influence

Yamal scored against Elche, Celta Vigo and Deportivo Alavés, while also providing two assists in Barcelona’s dominant win over Athletic Club.

His return to Camp Nou featured a two-assist display, followed by another goal-and-assist performance against Alavés to close out the month.

Those contributions pushed him past Kylian Mbappé and Antoine Griezmann in the final voting.

Catalans back on top

His renewed form helped steady Barcelona after concerns raised by their El Clásico defeat, with his consistency driving the team to the top of the La Liga table after 15 rounds.

Yamal’s combined tally now stands at three goals and eight assists in the league.

Focus shifts to upcoming tests

Barcelona now turn attention to an away trip to Real Betis, where Yamal’s creativity will again be central.

The Catalans will also rely on him as they re-enter Champions League action, hosting Eintracht Frankfurt.
