“Yahoo is one of Nigeria’s biggest problems” — Lady explains why

A Lady has drawn attention to the destructive impact of Yahoo culture in Nigeria, highlighting its influence on youth, lifestyles, and the nation’s future.

According to her, while some Nigerians profit from Yahoo activities, the negative effects on society are far-reaching and pervasive.

Yahoo has caused a lot of havoc to the society

She explained that Yahoo encourages drug use among young men, with some turning to substances to stay alert, survive, or sustain their online hustles.

Yahoo has made a lot of people purposeless. Many youths are unaware of politics or governance, yet this controls their daily lives,” she said.

The woman also pointed out the culture of entitlement fostered by Yahoo, especially among women who see uninvested money as disposable.

She warned that the cycle of hustling, cashing out, spending, and starting over creates a circular lifestyle that prevents progress. “If you’re doing Yahoo, it’s time to stop. Discover your talent, find a business you can manage properly,” she urged.

She concluded by contrasting today’s lifestyle-focused youth with previous generations who invested profits from 419 schemes into legitimate businesses.

Many of us today just want the lifestyle, copying others, but without investment. That’s why Yahoo is one of the major issues Nigerians are facing,” she said.
