Woman who decided to drag her husband’s pregnant side chick online receives backlash

A woman has sparked widespread reactions on X, formerly known as Twitter, after publicly calling out her husband’s alleged side woman in a viral post.
The woman reportedly shared a photo of the pregnant lady and accused her of snatching her husband.
In the post, she wrote angrily, “Gbokogboko (Husband snatcher), you even get mind carry belle for my husband? If you like, born ten for am na me still get am.”
She did not stop there, as she went into the comment section urging other users to criticise the woman. She also tagged the pregnant lady’s account to draw more attention to her.
However, the reaction from social media users took a different direction.
Many users refused to support the public attack and instead questioned why the woman was not confronting her husband over the issue.
Several comments pointed out that the responsibility should lie with the man involved.
As the discussion grew, the tone shifted further, with some users showing sympathy for the pregnant woman. A number of them reportedly visited her page and wished her a safe delivery.
The development turned what was meant to be a public confrontation into a wider debate about accountability in relationships.

Reacting to the situation, a user identified as Tax said, “It’s a clear example of how social media can redirect the focus of a story. Rather than amplifying conflict, the conversation moved toward accountability within the relationship itself.”
Tax added, “Moments like this show that audiences are becoming more intentional about where responsibility lies. Instead of reacting emotionally, many are choosing to question the root of the issue.”
Another user, Yizzy, also reacted, saying, “Honestly, this is what happens when anger is directed at the wrong person. The real issue is the husband, not the woman he chose to cheat with. People are just tired of seeing the blame shifted.”
