Woman ‘married’ to rag doll hosts gender reveal party for second ‘child’, expects a girl
Meirivone Rocha Moraes, a 37-year-old woman from Brazil, recently celebrated a gender reveal party for her second ‘child’ with her beloved rag doll partner, Marcelo.
According to The Guardian Nigeria, their unconventional relationship, originating from a rag doll crafted by her mother, has drawn attention online.
The couple, who already considers their first rag doll ‘son’ named Marcelinho, excitedly shared the news of expecting a girl, whom they plan to name Marcela.
Their gender reveal took place on TikTok, where they joyfully unveiled the baby’s gender using a smoke bomb that turned pink.
Despite Meirivone’s initial desire for a boy, citing the perceived costs and efforts of raising a girl, she expressed immense love and anticipation for their upcoming daughter.
Marcelo, equally thrilled, eagerly awaited a girl to complement their ‘family.’
Surrounded by about 40 close friends and family, the gender reveal party at their home featured a delightful spread of chicken, pasta, salad, and cake, along with personalized treats, music, and soft drinks.
The heartfelt moment captured in a social media clip shows Meirivone and Marcelo amidst pink and blue balloons as they hold a smoke grenade.
