A young man has gone viral after claiming that Afrobeats superstar Wizkid is bigger than Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, describing Fela as “old glory.”

This statement comes amid ongoing online attacks from Seun Kuti, Fela’s youngest son, who has been criticizing Wizkid and his fanbase, Wizkid FC, for allegedly disrespecting his father’s legacy.

In his viral video, the man argued that while Fela remains a legend of that time, Wizkid represents the present and the future of Afrobeats.

He added that Wizkid has already achieved legendary status despite not having reached Fela’s age.

The man also indirectly addressed Seun Kuti, criticizing him for using his father’s legacy to chase clout online.

He insisted that Wizkid is simply using his own glory, unlike Seun, who relies only on Fela’s name.
