Wizkid becomes first African artiste to headline world’s biggest gaming event in Saudi Arabia [Video]

Nigerian ace singer, Ayodeji Balogun a.k.a Wizkid, achieved a remarkable feat in his music career on Thursday, July 4th, as he became the first African artiste to headline the World’s biggest gaming event, Gamers 8 eSports, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The singer’s feat has set social media abuzz with reactions from his fans who dub him ‘the greatest African artiste’.

The award-winning star’s performance at the the gaming event comes a few weeks after he was announced as a headliner at the forthcoming Rolling Loud Festival in Miami, New York.

The Rolling Loud festival will run for three days, with Wizkid earmarked to perform alongside his counterparts abroad.

British rapper, Dave will headline the opening night on September 9th; American rapper, Future will follow up with his performance on Saturday, September 10th, while WizKid will close out the three-day festival on September 11th.
