“Why your boyfriend doesn’t see you as a wife” — lady reveals men’s opinions on dressing

A Nigerian lady has stirred conversation online after sharing her views on how dressing may influence a man’s intentions in relationships.

The lady, who posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, claimed that her informal survey of random men shaped her strong conclusion about modesty and marriage prospects.

Lady Shares Views on Men’s Preference

In her post, she said she randomly asked some men she did not know whether they preferred their women properly dressed or exposed.

According to her, all the men she spoke to said they preferred their partners to dress decently, without showing cleavage.

She further stated that many of them added that if they do not truly love a woman or see a future with her, they would not bother about what she wears.

Her Conclusion on Relationships and Dressing

Based on those conversations, she drew a personal conclusion.

She wrote that if a woman constantly dresses “indecently” while dating, there is a “95% probability” that her boyfriend does not see her as a wife.

According to her, such a man may keep the relationship for pleasure but not for marriage.

She added, “It’s not a curse, it’s reality.”

The lady also stated that if a man truly loves a woman and speaks to her about her dressing but she refuses to adjust, he may stop arguing.

In her words, “He go just dey knack you dey go till he finds a wife.”

Call for Modesty

She ended her post by advising women to embrace decent dressing.

“Receive sense today and learn the act of dressing decently,” she wrote.

The lady maintained that there is something powerful about not revealing the body and allowing people to imagine.

“Exposing your body is not gold,” she added.
