Why I lost to Daniel Dubois – Anthony Joshua

Nigerian heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua has explained his fifth-round knockout defeat on Saturday, which allowed Daniel Dubois to retain his IBF heavyweight title.

Dubois delivered an impressive display before 96,000 spectators at Wembley Stadium in London.

The 27-year-old knocked Joshua down four times before sealing the victory with a decisive right to the chin in the fifth round.

During his post-fight press conference, Joshua suggested that his loss was due to a few mistakes he made during the bout.

“I am a fighter for life, we will keep rolling the dice. If I am honest, I had a sharp opponent, but a lot of mistakes my end. As pissed as I am, this is the game,” he revealed to DAZN.
