“Why did you go for DNA test five times?” – Regha asks, as Davido denies meeting woman whose daughter claims he is her father

A fresh controversy involving Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has sparked heated debate across social media platforms.

The issue centres on Davido’s response to claims by a young girl alleging he is her biological father and requesting a DNA test.

The debate began after a user identified as The_Bearded_DrSina shared a post online with the photo of the young girl, saying:

“A daughter asking the father for a DNA test will really break and touch the father’s heart.”

Davido reacted strongly to the post, dismissing the claim and denying any relationship with the girl’s mother.

He wrote: “After 5 DNA test … she Dey craze … her and her mom better leave me the f**k alone and go find her papa …”

Davido denies knowing the girl’s mother

Another user, Elizabeth, questioned Davido directly, asking: “You knew the mom or not?? 😒😒”

Responding, Davido insisted he had never met the woman before the DNA process and criticised her actions.

He said: “Never met the b*h … except when went for the DNA … very stupid behavior I will soon treat their FK … 5 fking hospitals just to be clear … the mom needs to go to jail … I don’t blame the poor girl …”

Daniel Regha questions Davido’s claims

Social media commentator Daniel Regha later weighed in, expressing doubts about Davido’s explanation.

Regha stated that Davido’s claim raised questions, noting it seemed strange to undergo five DNA tests with someone he allegedly never met.

He added that if the woman was lying, legal action should follow, while also stressing the importance of personal responsibility.

Regha concluded by saying he felt sorry for the girl, describing her as the innocent party in the ongoing dispute.

Regha post read: “Davido claims he has never met the mother of the girl who’s asking for a DNA test now, except when they went to the hospital; But why will u repeatedly go for a DNA tests five times if u never met someone before? That’s weird.

“If truly the lady is/was lying, legal action should be taken. That said, this is why it’s good to practice abstinence, so no-one can point accusing fingers and u will 100% confident when speaking. I feel sorry for the girl.”
