“Who recorded creation?” – Lady challenges biblical account, pastor explains

A lady has sparked reactions after questioning the biblical account of creation, asking how events recorded in the Book of Genesis were documented despite the absence of human witnesses at the time.
The exchange, which has since drawn attention online, was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @Teeniola.
Questions on Creation Story
During the discussion, the lady raised concerns about who could have recorded events such as the creation of the world and the temptation of Eve in the Garden of Eden, noting that only a few figures were said to be present.
She said: “Sir, my first question is that in the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. Who were there recording it? Then second is that, in the Garden of Eden, God created Adam. And Eve was taken from Adam. So when the snake tempted Eve to eat the apple, who recorded the event? I mean who knows the exact thing that happened because it was just Eve, Adam, and the devil that was there. So who is recording the process?”
Pastor Explains Divine Encounter
In response, the pastor explained that the early books of the Bible were written based on divine encounters experienced by Moses, who he said had a close relationship with God.
He also spoke about historical claims that additional writings were removed, suggesting that only selected texts were preserved for spiritual edification.
He said: “Genesis is the first book of Moses. Exodus is the second book of Moses. Numbers, Deuteronomy, and Leviticus — those are the five books of Moses… Moses wrote seven books; only five were recorded in the Bible. The five were recorded because they believe they are the only ones useful for you.”
He added that Moses’ writings were based on direct revelations and encounters with God.
“Everything Moses was given was a narration of an encounter between him and God. Remember what the Bible says — Moses was speaking with God like face to face.”
Faith and Belief
The pastor further explained that believers accept biblical accounts as true through faith and personal spiritual experiences, including answered prayers.
“So everything we have today is a divine encounter between humanity and a higher being… How do we believe it is true? We believe it is true because every time we make reference to the Bible, every time we use a portion out of it to pray, we receive answered prayers.”
