Popular streamer and skit maker Carter Efe has reacted to a trending voice note involving his baby mama, Emmanuella, who allegedly questioned her friend over claims she was wearing “her man’s cap.”
The controversy began after a voice note surfaced online in which Emmanuella was allegedly heard confronting her friend, asking why she was seen wearing a cap she claimed belonged to her man.
Reacting in a now-viral voice note, Carter Efe distanced himself from the drama, insisting that he is currently single and not in a relationship with anyone.
“I just wake up see say one useless person dey call my name, say dem steal her man’s cap. Who be your man? I no dey relationship. I just say make I tell una because one idiot dey use my name dey catch cruise. Go find your useless man for front. I no dey relationship,” he said.
The entertainer also addressed his relationship with Emmanuella, making it clear that they have gone their separate ways and have no intention of getting back together.
He further alleged that after their breakup, the only reason he occasionally visited her was to see their daughter.
“Since when I break up with this person, we never see, and we no go ever see for this life. Even when she dey try sleep with me when I go see my daughter, I no gree because anything wey go make me get anything to do with that girl na the beginning of my downfall,” he added.
The former couple, who share a daughter, reportedly parted ways after Carter Efe publicly confirmed their separation earlier this year, revealing that he had been single for over a year.
His remarks have generated reactions on social media, with many Nigerians weighing in on the drama between the former couple, while others questioned the authenticity of the trending voice note.
