Born on June 24, 2004, in Agege, Lagos State, Nigeria, Afeez Adesina, also known as Destiny Boy, is an only child. Despite his young age, he has already established himself and gained financial independence.

Destiny Boy completed his basic and secondary schooling in Agege, Lagos, however it is uncertain whether he completed secondary school.

Destiny Boy grew up in Agege, listening to Fuji music as well as Nigerian pop music. Inspired by 2face, Dbanj, and Wande Coal, he began reinterpreting their songs with a Fuji twist. His family and friends recognised his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music.

The afrobeat singer began singing at the age of seven and performed at local gatherings. He later worked at T2 Boys Studios in Agege, where he became a backup dancer for the well-known Fuji musician Pasuma.

He created his own personal sound by combining Fuji and Afro-pop elements. His Fuji remix of Davido’s If became a hit, catapulting him into the spotlight. He has since created Fuji remixes for songs by other popular musicians such as Tekno and 2face.

Afeez performed during the Omo Better Concert, held yearly at Agege Stadium in Lagos State. Destiny Boy’s Fuji background influenced his early performances before joining the 2T Boys Entertainment record label, where he honed his musical skills.

Currently, Destiny Boy was 22 years of age as of the time of his birth. As at the time of this story, Destiny Boy’s family or management had not issued an official statement confirming the specific cause of death.

However, a close associate has said that he had been sick for a while which was tried to manage but unfortunately he died.
