“Where do you want me to get ₦1.1 million from?” – Soldier cries out over stolen motorcycle

A Nigerian soldier has sparked reactions online after crying out over the theft of his motorcycle.
In a viral video circulating on X (formerly Twitter) by @ChuksEricE, he expressed frustration at the thief, warning that divine punishment awaits anyone who steals from him.
According to him, he said:
“You that went to go and steal my bike, that you stole my bike, I swear God will punish you. Why will you steal my bike? I swear God will punish you.”
The soldier revealed that the bike, which he was managing, had recently been priced at ₦1.1 million, highlighting the personal and financial loss he had suffered.
“Bike that am managing, I went to price it and it’s ₦1.1 million. Where do you want me to get that amount of money from?” he added.
The video has generated widespread reactions online.
Many users sympathized with the soldier, while others raised concerns about the poor welfare of military personnels and questioned why a bike should trigger such distress.
