A Nigerian man has stirred criticisms on social media after revealing that a prank he played on his wife resulted in a medical emergency and a costly hospital visit.
In a post shared by @RDapsychoo, the man disclosed that he and his wife, who have been married for three years without children, were at home when he jokingly told her that he had impregnated another woman.
According to him, his wife fainted immediately after hearing the statement.
He said he quickly tried to explain that it was only a prank, but she remained unresponsive, forcing them to rush to the hospital. The man added that he has since spent over ₦600,000 on medical bills.
