“We will die like flies” – Charly Boy warns Nigerians of worsening hardship if Tinubu returns in 2027

Nigerian entertainer and activist, Charly Boy, has issued a stern warning to Nigerian about the future of the country under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of 2027 elections.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page, the outspoken figure claimed that the economic hardship currently facing Nigerians could worsen significantly if Tinubu secures re-election.
“Nigerian youths, what is our plan against 2027 if Bola Tinubu rigs it? If this man comes back, we will be dying like flies. The hardship about to hit us will be demonic. If we like, we should still be negotiating with rice,” he wrote.
The activist, who was a vocal supporter of Peter Obi, the former Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the last election, cautioned Nigerians against trading their votes for short-term relief such as rice and other palliatives.
Social media users have since reacted strongly, with many echoing his concerns about inflation and the rising cost of living, while others argued that his warning may be exaggerated.
His remarks add to the growing political discourse ahead of the 2027 elections, as Nigerians continue to debate the country’s economic direction and leadership choices.
