“We had no idea what we were doing” — Woman shares awkward honeymoon experience

A woman has shared a candid account of her early marital experience, revealing how she and her husband navigated intimacy as first-timers.
Newlywed story sparks reactions online
The story, which surfaced on social media this week, detailed events from their wedding night and the challenges they faced due to lack of prior experience and guidance.
According to her, both she and her husband had never been intimate before marriage, a situation she said became evident during their first attempt together.
“When my husband and I got married newly, my mother-in-law had already told me I was the first woman he ever brought home. She said he never had time for relationships, so I understood. But on our first night, we realised both of us had no experience at all. We kept trying, but nothing seemed to work, and we got tired.”
Pharmacy visit leads to breakthrough
She explained that the situation led them to seek help from a pharmacist the following day, where they received guidance on how to approach the experience properly.
The advice, she noted, helped them make progress, eventually improving their confidence and comfort level as a couple.
“We went to a pharmacy and explained everything. The man asked if either of us had experience, and when we both said no, he sat us down and explained things step by step. When we got home and tried again, there was progress, and we stayed indoors for a week.”
